It’s a hub to unwind, rewind and get winded too with the pulsating beat of the music which plays till the wee hours of the morning. It is DTR (Down the Road) Riverfront Bar & Restaurant. The open terrace is a very popular place. Or move into the air-conditioned space and get the retro feel. Near the bar there is a small platform for the bands to perform, and a giant screen which screens sport, or food demos. However, if you happen to want a meal, there is a wide range of preparations to meet that need….Indian and Chinese too. But let’s focus on the ‘let’s meet up’ type of concept. Start off with Chicken Liver Pate on mini toasts. The pate is tasty, the toasts crisp. Or perhaps order the wood fired pizza… the pepperoni was good. Feeling puckish? The Mega Burger was what it proclaimed itself to be.. MEGA.

The meat was soft and juicy; the cheese added its own allure, the fries crisp. Or you could focus
on the Filet Mignon with hash potatoes and vegetables. And all you sweet lovers… there is pannacota, blueberry cheesecake and fruit filled pancakes. It’s a great place to drop in and chat during the day. The ambience is great… casual and uninterrupted. The food is good, don’t expect designer styled meals, but tasty and wholesome (big portions) and a great value for money. Their Indian menu (especially the kebabs) is worth ordering. So if you are out on s shopping spree in Panjim or wish to meet with someone for a casual tete a tete then the DTR Riverfront is just the place for you.
