The whole of India celebrates National Sports Day on the 29th of August. The day coincides with the birth anniversary of India’s hockey wizard Dhyan Chand. Chand is regarded as one of the greatest ever hockey players. He helped India to win three consecutive Olympic Gold medals in 1928, 1932 and 1936.
