In the context of promoting Goa as a tourist destination during the annual Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) summit to be held in South Goa, the Union Ministry has allowed Goa to host a dinner for the BRICS delegates.
Along with the dinner, the delegate spouses will be taken on a sightseeing tour. Also, a Goan cultural troop will enthrall the delegates at the summit. Around 8000 delegates, including top leaders of all five nations are expected for the summit which is scheduled from October 15 to 16. The venues finalized for the summit are Park Hyatt, Hotel Leela and Taj Exotica.
