Panaji, January 2024- Kamaxi Overseas Consultants (KOC) has partnered with one of Germany’s largest producers of processed meats and allied products to offer students an exciting three-year internship-cum-internship programme in the European country.
The internship is a part of the German Ausbildung Programme, which is a partnership between industry and academia. Opportunities exist for the roles of cooks, butchers and food technologists (machine operators) and includes on-the-job training combined with classroom sessions. On successful completion of the course, interns will be offered a full-time job in Germany with the same company.
KOC will provide both online and offline German-language sessions at their campus in Goa prior to the interns’ departure, as well as assistance with the visa and accommodation once in Germany. The Goethe-Institut, a non-profit German cultural association that promotes the study of the German language abroad, will conduct the language test which is a prerequisite for the programme.
Students should have a minimum Standard 10 pass certificate and should have cleared the B1 standard German-language exam with training provided by KOC.
“At Kamaxi Overseas Consultants, we aim to offer Indian students quality educational and practical experiences that lead to employability anywhere in the world. The Ausbildung internship programme guarantees a holistic learning opportunity along with real-world work experience with attractive remuneration. Upon successful completion, the interns would have not only gained three years of work experience but also a solid theoretical foundation thereby leading to full-time employment in Germany,” said Siddharth Savkur, Chief Executive Officer, Kamaxi Group.
