Conducts a plantation and distribution drive of 4000+ saplings across its various properties

PANAJI, JUNE 10, 2022: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), Goa’s largest hospitality operator and leader in the tourism sector, implemented a host of sustainability and social impact initiatives under its ESG+ framework, Paathya. In line with this year’s theme of ‘Only One Earth’, the company conducted a plantation and distribution drive of over 4000 saplings at its various properties spread across the length and breadth of the state.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Vincent Ramos, Senior Vice President – IHCL, Goa said, “It is imperative for each of us to act upon the one or more aspects of the triple planetary emergency in order reset the balance with nature. At IHCL, inclusion and business responsibility is embedded in our DNA. Under Paathya, we will continue to pioneer sustainable practices in our pursuit towards excellence and creating benchmark in the tourism industry.”
