Set on the lobby level of Kenilworth Beach Resort, Mallika is an elegant Indian speciality fine dining restaurant featuring the robust North-west Frontier cuisine. The unique spread of Indian preparations says it all. Start with the Yakhni Shorba, the aromatized lamb soup from the house of Nawabs has a generous use of Indian spices. The focus moves to Rajasthan – the Kalmi Wada, a delicacy from the Tasoi of the Rajputana – the kings of Rajasthan where the use of gram flour and spices is abundant. From North to South, try the Poondu Kulambu. This is an aromatic vegetable preparation where the garlic pod reign supreme. For mains move over to Maharashtra. The Marathi Machhli Masala. Order a peg from the Johnny Walker Black Label, the chef’s special Marathi masala combines beautifully to give an out of the box combination. Another chicken recommendation is the Murgh Nazed Ali.

The stuffed Chicken breast which simmers in the chef’s specially created in-house gravy combines well with the Smirnoff No 21 based Jalapeno Martini. End the meal with Sheermal, a sweet Indian bread which uses dry fruit and saffron, a repice taken from the kitchens of the Nawabs from Lucknow.
