Located on the first floor of a 71-year-old Portuguese house, Peppers is only a couple of seasons old and doing well. The place has been refurbished to suit modern tastes and specializes in Goan and Portuguese cuisines. We recommend their authentic Goan dishes like Garlic Chilli Tongue, Pork Chilli Fry, Baked Stuffed Crab, Beef Roulade, Sorpotel and Sannas. The home-made spices give the food an authentic taste, making it a welcome change from hybrid versions of Goan and Portuguese food served elsewhere. The Chicken Cafreal, Chicken Bhuna and Beef Steak are not bad either. You can sit at the balcony, and have a drink, nibble on some starters and see the beauty of timeless Goa unfurl before your eyes.
