Students from Goa to embark on a culinary journey to Portugal

The students of V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) are gearing up to embark on a month-long culinary adventure to Portugal in the coming week. 10 outstanding students have been shortlisted by the institute to visit the country as part of a knowledge exchange programme.

The initiative stems from an MOU signed recently by the institute with Turismo de Portugal in the presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister António Costa when he was in Goa on a state visit.

Professor Irfan Mirza, Director of V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education lead the efforts in forging a collaboration between the two nations. The knowledge exchange programme between the two countries will see a collaborative effort in the fields of research, training, teaching-learning methods and other aspects over the next 2 years.
