It’s a garden like no other, with shades of colour that complement it. This air conditioned restaurant at Kesarval Garden Retreat is designed using warm colours. The restaurant features a wooden bar with a central buffet display area. In operation for more than three decades, this restaurant is known to serve authentic Goan preparations. Start with the Prawn Stuffed Papad – spiced prawns in Goan masala or perhaps the Golden Fried Calamari served with a tangy mayo. If Chinese is your choice, the Spring Rolls are there to order. The ambience is pleasing with the gardens seen through the windows in full bloom.
For mains – the Chicken Cafreal is the in-house signature preparation. For Continental try the Chicken Kesarval (served in a white sauce). Go Indian with the Paneer Tikka Masala or for the Goan flavour Vegans can order the Mushroom Xacutti. The Goan deserts are there to order too. Crepe Kesarval (coconut pancake with lemon and honey) or the old favourite Caramel Custard. An excellent venue if you are early for a flight (15 minutes from the airport), or entertaining friends or business colleagues in the vicinity. The ambience is great.
