In the vibrant coastal town of Calangute in North Goa resides Vishvadeep Vishwesh Kakule, better known to his 49K followers on Instagram as @vkvlogsgoa. While many may associate Goa with its pristine beaches and laid-back atmosphere, Vishvadeep is breaking stereotypes by taking his passion for biking to new heights. This young 25year-old moto-vlogger recently completed a remarkable 2200 km journey from Goa to Hyderabad and 700+ km ride, an expedition that took him to the India-China border on an electric bike.

A Journey through Goa and Beyond

Vishvadeep’s journey in the world of biking started at the age of 12 when he first threw his leg over a bike. However, it was at the age of 18 that he fully embraced the thrill of long rides, particularly with his KTM DUKE 250. His fascination for bikes and the open road only grew from there.

After completing high school, Vishvadeep pursued a Diploma in Automobile Engineering. After this, he worked for a few months at Toyota. Later, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing a mobile repair and accessories store in his village of Calangute. Currently, he is on the cusp of launching a washing centre business.

The Electric Adventure: From Goa to the China Border

The highlight of Vishvadeep’s motovlogging career was a groundbreaking trip to the India-China border, which he undertook on an electric bike. The trip was organised by Ola Electric in collaboration with the Indian Army. Being an adventure and biking freak, Vishvadeep was thrilled to be a part of the event.

Vishvadeep was accompanied on the trip by his friend. The trip began on September 26th 2023, with a flight from Goa to Chandigarh. From there, Vishvadeep travelled to Kasauli, a town in Himachal Pradesh. From Kasauli, he and his friend rode on an electric bike, along with other participants and members of the Indian army, to the remote village of Chango, situated at the India China border. It was a total of 7 days of riding, covering a total of 700 km.

The Electric Steed: OLA S1 Pro Gen 2

For his extraordinary journey, Vishvadeep relied on the All-New OLA S1 Pro Gen 2, an electric bike that underwent rigorous testing throughout the expedition. The trip served as a testament to the growing capabilities and reliability of electric vehicles, even in challenging terrains.

Challenges Faced

Vishvadeep’s journey, however, was not without its challenges. Water crossings and the search for charging points for his electric bike presented hurdles. However, with the unwavering support of the Indian Army, Vishvadeep and his friend overcame each obstacle. Throughout the journey, the Indian Army supported all the participants with all their needs – from accommodation to food to even camping equipment. Charging points in Army camps provided the necessary energy for the participants’ electric steeds.

Future Adventures and Inspirational Message

Looking ahead, Vishvadeep has ambitious plans for more long-distance rides. A Kashmir to Kanyakumari trip is on the horizon, and he’s eyeing international journeys as well. As a moto-vlogger and travel blogger, his primary goal is to share his knowledge and experiences related to bikes with others.

In his own words, Vishvadeep encourages aspiring moto-vloggers and travel bloggers, emphasizing that there’s no age limit for riding. He advocates for chasing dreams relentlessly and believes that hard work is the key to achieving them.

As Vishvadeep continues to explore new horizons, one thing is certain – his journey is far from over. Whether cruising through the scenic landscapes of India or venturing into international territories, @vkvlogsgoa is set to inspire a new generation of moto-vloggers and travel enthusiasts.
