      According to the statistics revealed by the State Tourism Department, Goa witnessed a 30.54 per cent increase in overall tourist arrival. In total the state was visited by 52, 97,902 (more than five million) tourist, of which 47, 56,422 were domestic tourists and 5, 41,480 foreign counterparts.
